Winkley Professor of Biblical Theology at Yale Divinity School (from 1934) and chairman of the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Literatures (from 1950), Dr. Burrows tells the story of the Dead Sea Scrolls from his vantage on the scene at the beginning. Written in a very readable style with some original translations by the author.
