This book is a great one to read for any family who has a set of rainbow colored play silks. The book shows a dance troop of small children who dance with their silks and as they cross paths you can see the colors that are created when colors mix. Fun to try at home after reading the story. ( )

This book is all about how combining the primary colors can create other colors.
This would be a great way to teach young students about colors, mostly in art class!
I recommend this book for pre-K to 2nd graders. They could create a color wheel similar to the one in the back of the book.

This book is about 3 girls learning the primary colors, red, yellow, and blue colors and mixing them, I think is great for first for 1st. readers. ( )

I thought that color dance had great pictures, but it was too simple. I thought that the story could have been more.

This book is an example of an informational book because it shows what colors you mix to make other colors. It is really neat how they mix the colors together with only three different color scarves. This book is for any age, but primarily for primary age students ( )
