As the co-owner of Mostly Romance bookshop, divorcee Kate Winthrop, has plenty to keep herself occupied, including two young lodgers, Sean, a musical maestro, and bad boy, Joe. Now, I'm no mathematician but one woman, two men and the title of this book clearly adds up to a ménages á trois!

Determined to make both boys happy, for as long as possible, Kate enjoys giving and receiving many hours of rampant sex. She wants nothing more than the good times to roll for all three of them. Nevertheless, when a duet turns into a trio, life can get complicated, and that dreaded F word - 'friction' can cause havoc, just like carpet burns. Isn't there always someone getting more than their fare share of the action? With this in mind, Kate begins to wonder how long it will be before one of them gets hurt. It is already too late to go back to being just housemates, not that she wants to.

Besides the juicy bits, I followed the trio's emotional turmoil, and read through the pages with a brisk, upbeat tempo. Like Kate, I found myself eager to discover what the musical climax would hold, and if naughty boy Joe's overture would survive the final encore.

This is the first of many of Emma Holly's books that Black Lace have re-released due to their popularity, and now I can see why. Among many aspects of this intriguing story, I give top marks for the sexual tension during their BDSM play, which is both erotic and satisfying to read. Lets just say that this story whet more than just my appetite to read further books by this talented, prolific author's work. Heaps better than carpet burns any day! ( )

I flew through this book...and couldn't put it down from the opening to the closing and every where between. The story was great and the sex was HOT! I absolutely loved Sean! Such an incredibly sexy dominant man. Kate and Joe were great too! I loved the mind games they played with each other, the fantasies were hot! The school girl and the priest....I was fanning myself. I loved the story, and the setting in Philly was fantastic! A great read, I'm glad I was finally able to track a copy down. ( )

THIS WOULD BE A 5-STAR FOR THE STORY ALONE. IS A M/F/M WITH STRONG IMPLICATIONS OF "PERMANANCE". THE SEX, WHILE PLENTIFUL, IS STALE. TOO MUCH "PSYCHIC SEX". THAT'S THE REASON FOR THE 4-STAR. PROBABLY WOULDN'T MAKE A GOOD "RE-READER" EITHER ONCE YOU KNOW THE ENDING. ( )

I'm glad I finally found a chance to squeeze this book into my reading queue. It was a wonderful read... I could barely keep my hands off myself. The story starts out with what would be any woman's fantasy: Kate has two hot male housemates, Sean and Joe, living with her, and not only are they hot for each other, but they're hot for her too! After Kate discovers Sean and Joe together in her bedroom, Sean dares her to join them. What follows is a hot and steamy sexual relationship between the three of them, a ménage à trois, with all partners being faithful to one another, meaning they don't date or sleep with anyone else outside the threesome. Throughout this, Kate and Joe develop more serious feelings towards one another that go beyond sex and lust, and how these dynamics work within the current relationship is the subject of much of the book.

This is my 4th Emma Holly book and I definitely look forward to reading a lot more!
