Continuing my theme of reading books about finding happiness, I read Meet My Psychiatrist. Blacklock's psychiatrist is Old Doc Log, a moss covered log in a forest. Blacklock is a nature photographer and he bubbles and gurgles throughout the book about the joys of being in nature. My cynical self wants to know if this enthusiasm is genuine or if Blacklock's happiness ebbs and flows like the happiness of most sentient beings. In any case, Blacklock's tales of his nature adventures combined with his stunning photography make a lovely book. ( )
