/> Ever since last year's homecoming dance, best friends-turned-best enemies Zorie and Lennon have made an art of avoiding each other. It doesn't hurt that their families are the modern day, Californian version of the Montagues and Capulets.

But when a group camping trip goes south, Zorie and Lennon find themselves stranded in the wilderness. Alone. Together.

What could go wrong?

With no one but each other for company, Zorie and Lennon have no choice but to hash out their issues via witty jabs and insults as they try to make their way to safety. I did enjoy this book. It was such a fun summer read with a prefect mix of a summer adventure story, survival story and also rekindled romance and also romeo and Juliet. I really did grown to love both leads in this story and. I really did grow to love Lennon a lot and just loved their dynamics. I thought the environment of this novel was really fun back drop for this novel. I wish there was tad more survival stuff then there was. But it was a fun read and would def. read more by this author in the future! ( )

their first time gave me chills, like actually. i had to put it down to recover from how HOT the author wrote it. i love the forbidden romance types. enemies to lovers is on top. love how they portrayed the dad. hate him but he made the forbidden romance happen ( )

Cute but not super memorable. I think it's the one where she goes on the hiking trip and gets ditched. Ugh mean girls. ( )

CW: extra martial affair, sexual content, death of mother when MC was young, death of father

Well I think the title says it all really.

Another contemporary YA romance filled with miscommunication and good doses of willful refusal to see things from the other person's of view, or even talk to each other to find out what said point of view actually is. Go in with the right expectations and this is a cute romance with an engaging main character dealing with some weighty family issues who ends up in the wilderness with her hot guy former best friend turned enemy. It felt a titch on the long side to me given the nature of the story, but I liked the characters well enough that I wanted to see how things turned out. High 2 star rounded to 3. ( )
