I have this book by weeks but only two days ago I finally start it (cause his release in print version), and I have to say I should have read it first.

Matthew is a young and good med student: he likes sex but he knows he has to study hard and so he decides to spend his time on books. But at the beginning of the academic year he meets Andrew, his "on site" doctor teacher.

Andrew is gorgeous and gentle. He is divorced and spends all his time in hospital or with his son Henry. But when he meets Matthew he finds the dom he needs. Even if Matthew is younger of Andrew, the dom's role is his. Andrew is willing and quite. The relationship dom/sub between this two is one I have never read before: it inspires me tenderness and caring.

The love between Matthew and Andrew grows slowly but stronger. In this book I feel the emotions, but they are all peaceful, even if there are topic moments. I close this book with a feeling of quite inside me.

Matthew Blake, a medical student, and Dr Andrew Maynard, his instructor, tell their story in alternate chapters.
Matthew shares a house in London with engineering students, and is being driven to distraction by their wild parties, affecting his ability to study. American Dr Maynard despairs over the students he has in his care, until that is he takes Matthew into his office one day to discuss a patient and then really notices Matthew for the first time and is stuck by his beauty. Matthew is equally taken by Andrew’s attractive features.
Matthew takes subtle steps to indicate to Dr Maynard his inclinations, and Andrew is quick to pick up on them. When they eventually come to together they are both overwhelmed, and Andrew is quick to suggest a follow up. They plunge into a sizzling relationship, and of course have to contend with all the difficulties that a teacher student affair involves, not the mention the problems of introducing Matthew to Andrew’s teenage son.
Matthew learns a few secrets about Andrew’s preferences, and Andrew is delighted when Matthew willingly satisfies them. There is an interesting reversal of roles; while Matthew remains in awe of his teacher in class, Andrew eagerly submits to his student in the bedroom.
The two fall in deeply in love, and the narrative follows the course of their love and associated problems. There is a strange mix of hospital and NHS politics, and hot bedroom activity. It is a delightful and very positive tale, with nice touches of humour and no horrors in store. Matthew and Andrew are very likeable characters, and they have some very understanding friends. This is without doubt a very pleasurable read. ( )
