Trick is a young aimless hustler living from day to day, when he is picked up by a very attractive purple-haired and obviously wealthy young guy who looks to be barley in his teens he thinks he’s got it made. The young guy is Bast (Sebastian) and they spend a night together and Trick is substantially rewarded. When he meets Bast again he does not hesitate to go with him, this time he stays longer than one night; and he is prepared to stay along as he is welcome even if there is something odd about Bast, after all he is on to a good thing. But what he doesn’t count on is Bast falling for him, even less his falling for Bast. All seems to go well until Bast begins to reveal the truth about himself, and when Trick learns that Bast is a 750 year old vampire it is all too much for him – and he splits. Bast is distraught, but for his own safety disappears. But Trick underestimates his own feelings, and is soon missing Bast, but can he find him again, and if he does will he take him back? Bast and Trick are two very appealing characters, and their growing love for one another is beautifully told. The passion between the two certainly makes for an erotic story, with Bast from the start able to take Tricks to extreme heights of pleasure, with even greater heights of ecstasy in ways unimaginable yet in store for him. But what is even more moving is that Bast is able as a vampire harmlessly to feed from his lover, in effect depending on him for his own survival. (While I have not read a great many vampire novels, I find this aspect of the relationship something very special indeed.) Sean Michael not only writes titillatingly, but he is able to weave it within a really interesting story too. Good story, but could've been much more developed. no reviews | add a review

Trick is a 20 years old hustler. He has a gentle soul, but really, is true problems at the moment, is gain enough money to eat. So when he meets Bast is like a dream: Bast is rich but he is also kind and caring. For the first time in his life, Trick wants badly to trust someone else.
But when Bast reveal his segret, what really upset Trick is that Bast was not sincere from the first time. He can deal with the vampire being of Bast. But with the sincerety and the trust, arrives also the love. But an immortal vampire can love a mortal human?
I like very much the character of Bast: he has the fragility of a teenager inside the mind of a very old and savy person. He is strong for the others, but can suffer a lot for love; he is open and trusting. Trick instead is very closed: he is like an animal badly beaten who has to learn to trust again; but, even if he is poor, what he needs more are not money but love, a lot of love.
