An EXCELLENT illustrated guide book on living in Japan. Concise, yet very helpful passages and notes. Not deeply detailed, but enough to engage and interest any reader. My homestay mother gave me this book when I was an exchange student in Japan in 1989. It enthralled me. I truly learned quite a bit. Highly recommended. (
