As always, the art of Ayano Yamane is exquisite. The characters are beautifully drawn, but undeniably MALE. The story continues from where it left off in Volume 2. FeiLong has come to Japan to cause trouble for Asami. He does so by kidnapping Takaba's friends--leaving him no choice but to go to Asami for help. There is a hot sex scene (no force) between Asami and Takaba, but another incident of rape does occur so be warned. This volume does show how Asami and Takaba's relationship is ready to move past the "forced seductions" of the first two volumes. Takaba is just beginning to shed his naivete, and Asami appears to have been waiting for this. There is a lot of action compared to the first two novels, as back story isn't as necessary. The story ends with a cliffhanger, making the expected wait for Volume 4 (only just released in Japan) all the more agonizing.
