A gripping thriller/lesbian romance, set on a hiking trail, where things are not quite as they seem..... Rapid pace, a great setting and atmosphere, fun characters and dialogue, edge of seat thriller plot, and hot romance that does not detract from (or slow up) the main story. The thriller and romance facets seem quite well blended. There is never a dull moment - even in the rare moments of relaxation. The description of the place and hiking/therapy group was enough for me to really feel I was "there", waiting for the suspicious flash of sunlight, or the snap of twigs underfoot. This is a quick, good, gripping, entertaining light read.

This is the first Gerri Hill book I have read, and I feel encouraged to look out for others. ( )
