I continue to absolutely love this series. Quinn is such a quiet nerdy computer guy, and he is totally adorable. Shane is Jude's ex friends with benefits (from Shatter), and needs Quinn's help with a PI case he got. The mystery was interesting, and it was cool to see the characters struggle with what is right vs. what the job is. I thought it was told well. I liked seeing Quinn's mom and Shane's dad, and their chemistry was great. Watching Shane come to the realization that he wanted a relationship was nice. Great installment, and can't wait for the next one.

I actually received an ARC for this book, and had to read the entire Unbreakable Bonds series before starting this series so that I could move into it knowingly (because I just can't start a series in the middle lol). This series probably could be read as a standalone, but reading the first series before this spin off was such a good idea for me. I am so glad I was able to get this as an ARC and bring me into this world. I've found one of my favorite series and spin offs, and will DEFINITELY look for more by these authors!

I received a copy of this book from Indigo Marketing & Design in exchange for an honest review ( )
