An action packed read. Alfred Kropp continues to be the bumbling hero in these books that read like a action/spy movie. Excellent. ( )

Once again, poor Alfred Kropp is in the thick of the action almost from the start of this book. Firstly, there is the little matter of the 400 million dollars he has just inherited and how to avoid being adopted by the hideous Tuttles! Then there is strange phenomenon of the new student (gorgeous blonde intelligent etc) Ashley being actually interested in Alfred! And then to make matters worse, the ex-OIPEP agent Mike Arnold trying to kill him. Oh, and then Mike releases some devils from their sand tomb and the fun really begins. Who is the mysterious Op Nine or Padre who knows everything and why is Alfred so important to OIPEP 's quest to destroy the infernal hordes before they take over the world.
Great stuff - Harry Potter on speed!

"Summary: The last descendant of Sir Lancelot, teenage misfit Alfred Kropp is drawn back into the OIPEP to battle a group of demons bent on freeing themselves from the confines of an ancient relic."
I really enjoyed this book! I love Alfred's outlook and his sense of humor. Quick read with very short chapters. This second story of Alfred has the fast cars and cool gadgets, but also scary freakin demons! I hope there is a third book coming. ( )

Alfred--orphaned at a young age and feeling out of place--must save the world a second time when demons escape from a sacred vessel; only the ancient ring of King Solomon can put them back. Alfred is recruited by the OIPEP spies to help recover the ring. This book is ok, but not great. It took me a long time to get through. ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 159990277X, Paperback)

Alfred Kropp returns in another page-turning, car-chasing, world-saving adventure! The ancient seals of Solomon—used by Kind Solomon to imprison the fallen angels of heaven—have disappeared. Should they fall in to the wrong hands, all hell could break lose . . . literally. And when Alfred Kropp goofs up as usual, the ring ends up in the hands of King Paimon, a terrible demon with a special bone to pick with our reluctant hero.  Alfred must find a way to right his wrong and save the world from imminent destruction . . . again! Jam packed with boy-centric action, this series is perfect for reluctant readers who are increasingly discovering this one-of-a-kind hero.
