This is a wonderful and touching story that engages you from the beginning, without ever being overly-sentimental or needlessly mysterious. It is one of the few books I've read recently that I could say feels nearly perfectly written, and I'd return to it for either the language or the story. Highly recommended if you're simply looking for a story to fall into. ( )
