She works two jobs, is majoring in art history at Syracuse, has a broken down car and a raging fever. When Brice Carlin picks up Karen Drew from the snow where she had fallen she can barely protest as he takes her to his home. Brice is a doctor and his healing instincts kick in over his dislike for Karen. In Brice’s mind, Karen is the one responsible for his grandmother being in a nursing home. In putting these two people together in a snowstorm, fate is giving them a chance to heal. A nice, light romance for those who believe in love. ( )

Book description
Tender Loving Care. His was a potent cure.
As if juggling two jobs, her studies and visits to Rowena Carlin weren't enough, Karen Drew was sick, miles from home in a blizzard and her car had died. Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, she collapsed at the feet of Rowena's grandson. Brice Carlin had no great love for her. Karen knew. He blamed her for the accident that had put Rowena in a nursing home. But his instincts as a doctor made him take Karen under his wing. And his instincts as a man made him want to keep her there...

Amazon.com Book Description (ISBN 0373252994, Paperback)

Working two jobs, going to graduate school . . . Karen Drew knew it wasn't the best time to visit her elderly friend. And she shruddered to think what could have happened if Brice Carlin hadn't pulled her from the drifts and taken her to his home. As a doctor, his healing instincts took over. But being snowbound with the man who once tried to have her put in jail was dangerous territory.

Sometimes fate decides to offer the chance to heal, to forgive and to understand that things happen for a reason -- and love is the best one of all.
