I don't know if I'm going to finish this book. It's entirely too much like the first one. Sookie's too prideful. She gets beaten up. She has a bunch of sex. She complains about her abilities and "having" to help other vampires. *yawn*

The only character I seem to like is Bill. Let's leave everyone else out and have adventures of Bill the Vampire series instead. He's the only one with any real dimension. Let's hear more about the other vampires too. Let's leave Sookie out altogether. ( )

I liked the first book in this series, but with this book did I rally start to love the series. The Sookie Stackhouse series is such a fantastic series, at least until the last book that ruined it all.

Living Dead in Dallas is a terrific book. I love the humor, the action and of course, Eric Northman. Yup, not a Bill fan at all! ;)

I do recommend this series, however, the last book is very, very bad. But until that one is the books great! ( )

absolutely LOVE Eric and Sookie together!!!! They are adorable! Bill gets pissed super easily. lol anyway, he redeems himself a bit at the end with his first display of human emotion in the series. yay! oh, and Callisto is one scary chick. ( )
