A mean green man lives in the mountains and does not like the Christmas cheer in the nearby village so he decides to do something about it. I have some real problems with over-exposure of The Grinch. I don’t like the cartoon, or the many Jim Carrey movies, or the stage production, or having to look at his face everywhere. But you know what? This book undeniably slaps. It’s such a simple, good story. Belongs to Publisher SeriesIs contained inHas the adaptationInspired

I love this book. It is by far my favorite story and the outcome always makes my heart melt. I love that from the start, the Grinch just really wants to take part but the assumption surrounding him can be felt. The supposed nice people are really the ones who are judging and mean, self consumed and altogether unwelcoming to someone different from them. All it took is one little kind heart to change how a person feels. Remember kindness always first. ( )
