... spake Zarathustra - and I was absolutely astonished by it - one of those books that change your life forever. I then read Twilight of the Idols, The Anti-christ and Ecce homo - all very good books, to get a better understanding of his philosophy. You really should read some of these works ... ... Bakunin, God and the State
Nietzsche, The Antichrist
Bertrand Russell Why I am not a Christian
God and the State in my opinion is the most devastating attack on modern religion I've ever read. Bakuni ... I had such a strong connection to Bella in Stephenie Meyers' Twilight series. Although I am 15 years older than she, I can identify with her dour moods and disappointment with human beings. Also, I fell in love with a really dark and charming guy in high school that may or may not be a vampire. #285 LadyN:
That sucks that you didn't like it but I guess it makes sense with your feelings for Twilight what they are. Personally, I'm so happy suge introduced me to these books - I love them very much and thought they were wonderful.
