The Doctor finds himself in the middle of a plot on Gallifrey.

Arriving back on the Time Lord planet he realises he is in the middle of a political plot and is being set up to take the fall for crimes committed in the pursuit of power during the change of presidency.

Previous prophetic remarks by the Master come back to haunt - about death in The Matrix - which is indeed something like what it sounds.

Handled ok - but here the tv is better than the book I think.

A good Robert Holmes script, turned into an average Terrance Dicks novel. ( )
