Professor Afferbeck Lauder, in his previous work Fraffly Well Spoken, proved that the language spoken in London is actually not English at all, but Fraffly. This followed his earlier discover of Strine, the language of Australia. Professor Lauder has thus established the principle that every country has two languages: the official written one and the unofficial spoken one.

Here's an example ....

"... I asked him if he was a Londoner. He looked mildly dismayed. 'Nech-relleh, earl chep, Whey chew osk/ Herpay dirnt looklegger foreigner. Thil jura spectre coss. Whetchew Kon from betther weh? Comm pless your recksent.' I told him 'Australia - have you ever been there?' 'Well earce ectuaelleh. Tehther smonning ay think. Smeshing little pless.'"
