Makes the characters seem like they are more real and not fictional.. ( )It was a great pleasure to read this book again.I had forgotten a lot of the descriptions of Little Proffitt, Kansas. and the spas of the Deep South, so it felt as if I was reading it for the first time. Agatha was a believable character all the way evenly matched by gambler turned saloon owner Scott Gandy, who reminded me of Rhett Butler of 'Gone With The Wind'. A really beautiful love story They were enemies, then friends. Then the sweet innocence of a child opened their eyes and their hearts. no reviews | add a review
