I'm back in Kabul (with The Kite Runner) and still in New York (The Nanny Diaries), but now also moved to Moose County (with The Cat Who Knew A Cardinal) I finished The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus and I've started Thirteenth Night by Alan Gordon. Total books read: 47 ... and in Kabul (with The Kite Runner) during the daylight. And just before going to sleep each day I move to New York (with The Nanny Diaries). I finished Bloodheir by Brian Ruckley and started The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin. The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Snake Agent by Liz Williams arrived this week. I moved out from Berlin and Provence. And now I'm in Pekin (Porte De LA Paix Celeste by Shan Sa) and in New York (The Nanny Diaries by Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin) ... Purgatory

Wheelock's L ... ... of 'essays' by different authors on the fame and love for the Twilight series. 5 stars on that book too. Also, I read The Nanny Diaries, which I would put more as a chick lit book than romance, also a 5 star book in my opinion.

The Blind Assassin, B is for Burglar and The Nanny Diaries came to work with me today in my brand new Arkansas Razorbacks tote bag, purchased from a flea market while on vacation (it's SO gaudy, I love it) so I will have an assortment to choose from when I finish Neverwhere this afternoon. My favorite book is Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin. It was a touching story about how the main character found her voice. I would read it again and again. I am just including this here just in case I get desperate with numbers of pages read! Ur ... I loved The Nanny Diaries. I guess it would be chick lit, but I found it so funny and there is a more serious note about the life of rich people who employ nannies. She does have some love interest, but it's not a romance. I highly recommend it as an escape from the everyday.
