The story has been repeated several times around here so I won't bore you all with that but I will agree that the heroine caused my eyes to roll more times than I care to remember. Maybe I'm just not into the weak, can't-think-for-myself type of heroines in my books or maybe she just was extremely irritating but either way the brothers swooped in and saved the day. I loved them all with each of their different personalities. After all, if you are going to be tossed around among three gorgeous men, do you really want them all to be from the same mold? ( )

FANTASTIC MENAGE SCENES. THE DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES OF THE 3 BROTHERS (ADAM, ETHAN, AND RYAN) WOULD BE EVERY WOMAN'S FANTASY. JUST HANG OUT WITH THE ONE THAT SUITS YOU BEST DEPENDING ON YOUR MOOD THAT DAY. THE REASON FOR 4 1/2 STARS IS THAT EVERYONE'S BACKGROUND IS SORTA' VAGUE. WE DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT HOLLY'S PRIOR LIFE AND THE HUSBAND'S NEFARIOUS DEALINGS ARE SO VAGUELY DESCRIBED THAT HE DOESN'T EVEN SEEM TO BE A THREAT. ALSO, THE 3 BROTHERS ARE OBVIOUSLY CLOSE TO THEIR PARENTS VIA PHONE CALLS BUT THEY HAVE NO PART IN THE BOOK. IN ADDITION, THE SEX, WHILE MIND-BLOWING, IS A LITTLE UNREAL. NO VIRGIN IS LIKELY TO HAVE ORAL, ANAL, AND VAGINAL SEX THE FIRST TIME...MUCH LESS HAVE IT OCCUR 2-3 TIMES WITH EACH BROTHER. LETS FACE IT. FIRST TIME SEX USUALLY EMBARASSES US AND THREATENS OUR MODESTY. THE BOOK IS UNREAL IN THAT SHE "TOOK TO IT" SO READILY AND HAD ABOUT FORTY-ELEVEN ORGASAMS TO BOOT.
AS I LIKE "PERMANENT" MENAGES, THIS BOOK IS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CRITICISMS ABOVE, THE SEX ALONE DESERVES A 10 STAR WET-PANTY AWARD. I'LL BUY MORE OF MAYA BANKS' BOOKS. NOTE: AMAZON SOMEHOW HAD TAGS, REVIEWS, OR SOMETHING THAT SAID IT WAS INTERRACIAL. iT IS NOT!!! I EVEN CAREFULLY REREAD THE BEGINNING WHERE DESCRIPTIONS WERE BEING GIVEN. BECAUSE OF THIS, I HAD AVOIDED IT AND MOST OF BANKS' OTHER BOOKS. I WENT BACK TO THE AMAZON DETAILS AFTER I FINISHED IT AND NOTICED THAT SOMEONE HAD ADDED TAGS AND A REVIEW OR TWO TO CORRECT THE ERRONEOUS INFORMATION. IT'S A SHAME IF SUCH INCORRECT LABELING HAS HURT SALES (OF COURSE, IT MIGHT HAVE HELPED WITH WOMEN WHO ARE INTO THAT PARTICULAR KINK). THIS IS A KEEPER AND GLOMMER TYPE BOOK. I HAD RENTED THE BOOK WITH RESERVATIONS DUE TO AMAZON'S INFO. I'LL GO BUY A COPY NOW FOR MY DIK SHELF.

Charlene Teglia got me hooked on erotica romance in her book WILD WILD WEST. Those were cowboys and it just wet my appetite for more. So I found Maya Banks, who is another new author for me. Her book, COLTERS’ WOMAN, is also about cowboys. It’s a very short read at 272 pages and the best part is that it comes with a warning label. The only thing I didn’t like was the sex scenes needed more description. And before you get to thinking my mind lives in the gutter - which it pretty much does. But in this case, I had trouble visualizing who was doing what where. For this reason I didn’t give it the Five Stars. ( )

I loved this book! I loved Holly, and Adam, Ethan & Ryan. The plot line which sounds incredibley cheesy really wasn't as bad as I had feared. Usually I start my next book immediately following the finishing of a book. I don't know if I am ready to do that this time. I may actually need to go back and reread certain parts. ( )
