Hamlet was so captivating and thought provoking that I had to read more of Shakespeare. This was an author that I had not been looking forward to reading, but after reading this I was hooked. I highly recommend it to everyone out there. Auction catalogue item description. A classic! Typical emotional view of the period. I've read it four, or five, times. I love the story. I don't know if I'm up for writing a review on Shakespeare, but I have to say that I very much enjoy the "Shakespeare Made Easy" version. I feel like the translation to modern English is done well, and it is very easy to switch back and forth from reading the original to the modern text. no reviews | add a review
