I've enjoyed every minute of it [tissues at hand!]

An essential addition, [in my humble opinion], for your Advent/Christmas reading journey...

Almost a time travel,
it's a most fresh interpretation of the Christmas story,
a perfect read for a snowy winter evening by the fire...

One Mary is young, pregnant, and living out the greatest assignment
ever given to a woman of faith.
Another Mary is single, visiting at her Southern family's where her mom has come to fight her battle with cancer, torn between her divorced parents, and worried about her mother’s health battle.
Mary begins experimenting at working it all out in a journal at the suggestion of a spiritually gentle woman friend of her Aunt where she's come to spend Christmas .
Though their lives are separated by years and distance,
one simple exercise of imagination joins their stories and destinies and makes for a powerful story for contemporary readers.
