Will the magical fairy Pucho and the power to transform by drinking a beverage help Mayu win the heart of Amamiya? The shojo-ness of this manga is apparent right from the pink cover through the abundant flowers, sparkles, and clouds on most pages. The super serious looking object of Mayu's crush is drawn with the long neck and pointy chin common to girls manga, and many of the pages are very busy with drawings. Mayu ends up in one ridiculous situation after another thanks to both the transformations that happen to her and her own actions. It is obvious from the start that Amamiya has no interest in her, yet she continues to pursue him in the hope of bringing out the kindness she saw him display once. Perhaps it is because I don't share the feminine perspective, but I found so much of what happens stupid, and not in a funny or endearing way common to good romantic comedies. Perhaps young girls will find this appealing. ( )

I have nothing good to say about this book:

- I received it for free and I want my money back.
- I lost brain cells reading it, brain cells I could be using for important things like bringing about world peace or deciding whether I want paper or plastic.
- The paper would be put to better use as kindling than manga.

Really, I think that sums it all up.
