A good overview of how the OT/NT canons developed in Christianity (and in Judaism for the OT as well). In addition, McDonald discusses the use of the OT/NT by the Church Fathers. He also discusses the use of, and citation of Scripture by the same. All in all, an enlightening read. ( )
