( )This is the first book in the series and its great. If your into Mythology and fantasy/magic you will definitely like this book and the whole series. I recommend this series to anyone This is the first book in a 13 book series about four girls with supernatural talents who find out they are actually goddesses charged with destroying evil. In "Goddess of the Night", Vanessa Cleveland can't shake the feeling that she is being followed, and she thinks this is because someone has found out her most closely kept secret - she can become invisible. You can definitely see Ewing's background in screenwriting in this book as she is very descriptive. She spends a lot of time talking about the girl's clothing and their unique styles, etc. And she does a great job of it. I think these books are perfect for the audience they are targeted to, pre-teen and younger teen girls who are interested in fashion. The story itself isn't anything terribly original but there are a few plots that I think show promise, especially the one involving Vanessa and Stanton. I may just keep reading to see what happens there.... A very fantastical story, that teen girls will love. (And older “girls” as well) It combines being special and cool with hints of Ancient Greece. Definitely, an original story. A fun beginning to a series. Hands down the greatest book I've ever read! About four girls who find out their destiny. They find out that they are goddesses. - Brittney M. 0.163 seconds to build listing
