I liked this book for different reasons. I do think this is more on a toddler-kindergarten level though. This is a great book for children just learning how to read. Not a lot of words are being used and they can use clues from the illustrations to see what the text says. The plot is organized and shows how Elmo goes to all of his friends, like on a journey, to figure out where his Valentine's Day card came from. The big idea was that no matter who you are or how old you are, your parents can still be your Valentine. ( )
