I enjoy Jane Green novels and this one was no different. It had a St. Elmos Fire kind of feel to it.

The book is about friends who get together for the furneral of one of their friends who died in a terrorist attack in London. All of the friends are in different places in their lives but they all have conflicts and have to deal with the aftermath of this tragedy. ( )

A Very Poignant Look At Life: This book is such a beautiful piece of work. I found the characters all very realistic with problems that I could see any of us facing in everyday life. I personally related to the character Holly. I couldn't wait to see where she'd end up at the end of the book. One thing this book makes you think about is the friendships you developed when you were younger. The shared history you have with those people in your past. Life many have taken you on a different path - but in the end those shared histories are enough to keep those friendships intact and those bonds alive forever.

Maybe it's time for me to stop reading her books. The last three have been my least favorite and I'm reading them in the order they were published, so I doubt it's going to go back the other way... ( )

A Terrific and Warm Story.

I have bought just about all of Jane's books because she writes such wonderful stories and this novel "Second Chance" is no exception. In this story of friends the author again drew me into the story and I could feel every emotion (even the laughter) the characters were experiencing. In my opinion it's an easy, feel good read. A great book to relax with on the beach. ( )

Not a bad book, but I didn't like the end. Now I'm curious to know what happened to Will, since it's one of the characters that wasn't in the last chapter in that sort of happy ending.

It could have a better end, I think. Not that is so bad at all, but I feel it's missing something. ( )
