This is a Reading Rainbow book, ages 4-8, or adult if you're like me and just like extremely cute pigs. It's about Poinsettia, her six siblings, and her mom and dad. One day she brings home her favorite library book, about a dancing horse, to read. But her many brothers and sisters are taking up all the good reading places! She gets huffy at first, but then learns important stuff about herself. It's a very endearing story--and pictures--about the best things in life. Definitely recommended; one of my favorite childrens' books. ( )

For every kid who wished he or she was an only child - particularly those in larger families - this is a great book that explores the pluses and the minuses of family life.
