While I can see how the humor would appeal to a lot of people, it just didn't pull me in. ( ) Light reading at its best, these stories speak to a country girl's heart. If I wasn't doing some of the hijinks in these stories myself, I was watching my brothers or friends do them, or antics just as crazy. McManus has a fine storytellers heart and talent, I can almost smell the campfire smoke as he winds out the tale before us. Some of them had me giggling uncontrollably, which is always a good thing in my book. no reviews | add a review
