I was very good today... went to Target for travel toothbrushes and came home with Two for the Dough and Lean Mean Thirteen both by Janet Evanovich. I think I've become addicted to her fiesty and funny Stephanie Plum investigating bounty hunter.

I just finished To the Nines by Janet Evanovitch and am currently reading The Duke by Gaelen Foley. I have Seduce me at Sunrise waiting in the wings (just bought it this morning) but, like Katybear, I think I will read through Mine Until Midnight again.

I thought Lean Mean Thirteen wasn't up to par (along with the few before that). The wife's reading Fearless Fourteen now - she got to it before I did - and has woken me up the last several nights laughing at it. So maybe there's hope that the latest is better than the last few? Maybe the story ...

... but as you do I feel that the last few of her books just don't have the same zeal that they once had. Don't get me wrong Lean Mean Thirteen and Fearless Fourteen both had some laughs but not that same laugh out loud humor that were customed to having with these books.

Hi I note you read Lean Mean Thirteen by Janet Evanovich Did you enjoy this book? I've been a bit disappointed by her most recent editions. I enjoy her writing because I usually laugh right out loud, but I find her later books aren't as creative.
