Mixes breath, mindfulness, chakras, a fairly flexible and open sort of spirituality, massage, dance, energy, with sex, play, sensate focus, masturbation. Ritual is mentioned, but it's a very free kind, for each person to design their own, for the time and place and situation that suits them. As much attention is given to solo sexual activities as partnered ones. Explores lots of different ideas, with a sense of fun and curiosity. Very welcoming, inclusive book - for all sexualities. For the purpose of the book in regard to specific massage strokes, there is a specific section for female-bodied people and a section for male-bodied people, without reference to specific gender identities. The overall emphasis is fun, intimacy, breath, consciousness, and safer sex. There is an interesting section linking tantra and BDSM. Finally, there is a really good resources section. Lots of food for thought here. Entertainingly written and beautifully illustrated. ( )
