I won this book as part of a giveaway. Many thanks to the author. This is an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading this book. From the shorelines of the Northumberland Coast, to workhouses and Flander’s Field, this book definitely has a twisting plot. I did find it difficult to imagine/understand the dialogue at times (due to my lack of experience listening to a Northumberland accent); however, this did not change the quality of the experience I had while reading this book. Fantastic. ( )
