The illustrations in the second smaller collection made that book so lovely. But this was still a beautiful book that deserves a read. ( ) Summary: This is a chapter book of poems about God experiencing the world he created, going to beauty school to learn how to do a perm and instead loving doing nails, because he was really proud of making hands, calling up Mother Teresa because he was lonely and wanted her to bring him a comic book, going to visit the elephants, trying to figure out how He had made Cain devoid of love if love was His bones, His veins, going to Boston and finding a holy place, smoking a cigar, and dying, just to do it.
