As a sports lover, soccer being one of my favorites, I really enjoyed the novel by Mr. Wallace. He brings in multiple conflicts in the novel, mostly revolving around soccer, but most are the relationships between the team that really provide some serious drama. Wallace keeps the reader glued to the page bringing the town of Sturbridge to life with his great and extensive knowledge of what goes on in a high school sports season. ( )
