Once again, the descriptions and settings are wonderfully written. This time, much action is taking place in the midwest, and the area's near the great plains.
Choice of the Cat begins with Valentine and the Wolves seeing a lot of action, and a major battle. The Twisted Cross still bothers Valentine. This story revolves around his efforts to bring the Twisted Cross to the attention of the Southern Command.
There is a lot of action, adventure and new knowlege of Grogs, Twisted Cross, and quislings in this installment.
I'm eager to start the third book in the Vampire Earth. (
