will love Sign up for LibraryThing to find out whether you'll like this book. This is a little different than the standard AT thru-hike journal, as Rubin is actually a good writer. Still, nothing extraordinary. ( )Ruben writes a good description of the physical and mental ordeals of hiking. A very enjoyable, inspirational, consistently well-written, fast read. I'm a big Bill Bryson fan, but this story of the AT experience is so much better. Highly recommended. no reviews | add a review
