Book description
A poem written between 1756 and 1763, when Christopher Smart was confined to a lunatic asylum. Lines 697 - 770 of Fragment B2 "For I will consider my Cat Jeoffry" refer to Smart's cat Jeoffry and are sometimes anthologised separately as one poem.

The Stead (1939) and Bond (1954) editions of the entire work are arranged differently, according to their interpretations of Smart's poetic intention.
