The attitude towards sex is adolescent at best. And there is way too much of it...basically obscuring the silly plot and making the characters seem like they are always on the verge of another sex scene. Disgustingly amateurish. I understand this is the 11th in a series. I can only hope the others are better 'cause this one is not very good. ( )A great addition to her SEALS/FBI/Troubleshooters series begun years ago in Silhouette Intimate Moments and continued in mainstream romantic suspense novels like this one. Jules Cassidy returns as the FBI agent in charge of preventing a major terrorist attack and as soon as he arrives in Florida comes face to face with old flame Robin who is alcoholic and in the closet. Then there's the straight romance between Ric and Annie who also become tangled up in the investigation. Yes, this is a romance novel. What? Sometimes it's nice to read something light and fluffy. The author approached the subject of homosexuality and did it quite well. What made it even better is that it is dedicated to her son, who is gay. Great... um... love scenes ;) This was one of my favorites in the series. However, you really should read Hot Target first in order to get a better understanding of the back story. I thought the action sequence in the last 100-150 pages was excellant. It seems like it would translate into a great movie. no reviews | add a review
