Work detailsSimple Genius by David Baldacci
Sean King & Michelle Maxwell, hired by someone unknown, are sent to a secret site across the river from another secret site, to solve the mystery of one and then multiple murders. I could tell you about it but then I'd have to kill you. ( )I love this series. This book seemed more harrowing than the last two. VERY good book, I loved how the bond between King and Maxwell is defined and tested, and how you get to see behind Michelles tough exterior. Great book...read it! I liked this book. Many story lines, quite a few persons and a story that is quite believable. I liked the way that Michelle's story was told, the influence it has on her, but also on the people surrounding her. I like the attraction between her and Sean, although they'll never admit it is there (not at this stage anyway). And I like the idea that a small girl outwits several grown ups :-) Michelle is having a mental breakdown and Sean accepts a job from his old boss so he can afford to pay for Michelle’s treatment. She is fighting the treatment and leaves the hospital to go help Sean in a complicated CIA conspiracy plot. It involves secret codes given to a young girl with an asperger’s type of condition. simple and easy to read. not sure how much of it is simply made up while other thing might be true and that would be scary. no reviews | add a review
