Unusual and very entertaining lesnov, set in a future version of Washington DC. Physically, the characters don't completely match the typical uber book, but it sure felt like one to me! Uber G is a psychic detective, in a world where telepaths have become the latest hated population subgroup. Uber X is her cop partner, another detective in the violent crimes division of the DC cops. Together, they take on a very powerful psychic who is also a psychotic mass murderer. ( )
