Moule made maps of each of the counties of England and created the first atlas of England in the early 1830's. With the changing times and the creation of new towns and growth of the new railroads, the maps needed constant updating. Each map is colored and has neat drawings of buildings, sights and coats of arms around the edges. It lists the hundreds, sokes, wapentakes and rapes (administrative divisions) in each county. I can't wait to see the Tudor Atlas by Christopher Saxton , which I just ordered. ( ) no reviews | add a review
