A great introduction to the philosophical refutation of religious claims. ( )

Somewhat dated, but still a good and accessible case for atheism, as well as the purported case for theism. A major weakness of the book is that Smith explicitly links atheism too closely with metaphysical materialism--which even many atheists would balk at. This is a "no holds barred" polemical piece for atheism. ( )
