The fact that this book is out-of-print is a crime and shows pretty much everything that is wrong with the world in general and publishing in particular. This is one of the greatest parodies of all time. If you've read a lot of postmodern theory, this is the book for you because you'll find it hilarious. If you've never read much postmodern theory, this is still the book for you because you'll find it hilarious. In addition to being a great parody of structuralism and deconstruction, it's also a great academic parody (much better than Bradbury's The History Man). ( )
