I am currently teaching myself to sew and this book was SO helpful. It really does explain absolutely everything you need to know. I've successfully managed two projects from it so far. ( )

Extremely well written sewing tutorial. Includes ten paper patterns included in a package in the front cover of this spiral bound inner book with a hard outer cover. It will lie flat and is sensibly organized to guide one through a step-by-step sewing course. The projects are NOW, the instructions are complete, and the sewing style is a combination of trends popular now with technique that doesn't slack off from a finished look.. I have sewn for decades and yet this book is quite helpful! GREAT as a textbook in a sewing class. ( )
