The puppy is dreaming of having a delicious, tasty bone. The puppy is biting, rolling, and playing with the bone. He is having the time of his life. But when he wakes up he realizes its all a dream and the bone isn't there. He begins to smell something and starts wagging his tail with excitement. He begins to dig through the trash searching for something. He finds it, it was a bone! The puppy was so excited and begins to walk outside and show it off. The puppy stops, he sees another dog with a bone and begins to bark at him very angrily. What he doesn't realize is that it was his own reflection in the water. Also, while he was barking he had dropped his bone. The puppy jumped and searched for it but couldn't find it. It is sad how the dog loses the bone when he had just gotten it. This is a very cute story that also teaches you a lesson. It shows you how you can lose something in an instant , so you should cherish the things you have while you still have them. This is a great picture book anyone would enjoy. ( )
