The corperation has made a lot of enemies over the years....one of the oldest has assembled them and combined them with a duplicate Oregon and plans to discredit and then destroy them. A fun read and enjoyable story. ( )

Who is the bad guy with the counterfeit Oregon? Juan's ship and reputation are on the line as they battle their mirror image. Another good entry in this fine series. ( )

Clive Cussler and Boyd Morrison deliver another rollicking adventure in the Oregon files series. In "Final Option" Juan Cabrillo and his team from the Oregon find themselves up against a relentless adversary who is hell-bent on destroying Juan by any means possible. In addition to possessing a secret weapon created in the days of World War I, Juan's enemy also has a ship that seems to be identical to the Oregon in appearance, hidden technology, and weaponry. Has Juan finally met his match?

The end of this book was probably the most emotional ending I've come across in the Oregon series. Juan and his team are never sentimental -- they are mercenaries, albeit mercenaries for good. In "Final Option" we get to see more emotion from the team members and Juan himself, and it is very touching.

Judging by the ending of this book, the next one may head in a slightly different direction, but I am confident that the series will continue to be full of fun action and adventure, and I very much look forward to the next book in the Oregon files series. ( )
