More like a treatise on Aboriginal customs and beliefs, along with their political struggles, than a novel. Informative, but not much of a plot. ( )

This book did not strike me with the same force that "Mutant Message fr Down Under" did. While it is an ideological descendant of the other volume, it is not exactly a sequel. Through both of these works, Marlo Morgan does an admirable job of bringing culture of Native Australians to the rest of the world's attention. There is no doubt that these are a people traditionally very in touch with their land and there is a lot we can learn from them.

The overriding message makes this worth reading. ( )

Book description
