This book really explores the relationship between Bo and Sam and the long, tough road ahead of them. It also has a pretty good plot about underground tunnels at a Private school and missing teens and a gateway to another dimension that was the chief plot in the first book. Growing to like these characters alot and look forward to the rest of the series. ( )This story is a follow up to Oleander House and continues the romance between Sam Raintree and his closeted boss, Bo. The characters from the first book (plus a new one) also continue their jobs as paranormal investigators-- on a case with some remarkable similarities to Oleander House's. I think the author did a nice job keeping up the suspense, but this story was a rough sketch compared to the first book. After some of the nice details about ghost hunters equipment and routines, or the architectural information and floor plan in the previous book, I felt the author really dropped the ball on research when it came to portraying a hospital and its policies. It was an entertaining sequel, if not up to my expectations from the first book. no reviews | add a review
